Time.

And if she isn't your friend just because you didn't lend her money, you don't need her as a friend.

Oh don;t worry to much sounds like she just little annoyed and may be little hurt you turned her down

don't no the back ground in to it but I once asked a family member for a loan small one mind I didn't tell them what it was for but I really needed it however they had the money and turned me down was more hurt them anything..

give this person space to come to terms with this as do you know what they needed it for as might being important but your call.

I would send message to say look sorry could not help out but I am hear if you need me and the ball in there court to get in touch which am sure they will

Stop feeling guilty!

There is nothing to feel guilty about, just because you didn't lend her money, doesn't mean that you have any reason to have guild. If anything the only think you are guilty of is making sure you can survive on what money you have.

You did the right thing.

I don't think you lost a friend, it's your ex friend who lost you !!!
You don't have to feel guilty about it. Most people are so sensible especially those who have economic problems. Try to look on the better side ... you have done your part to help her and she has to be thankful for having a friend like you.. And don't worry, one of these days, (I hope) she will realize how fortunate she has been for having you as a friend and she will return. It's just a matter of time ....

Being careful about money is a good trait. Being generous is also a good trait. Friendship is a special thing. True friendship never requires money lending. Money lending is never a good thing. Giving is the best trait.

she is not a true friend. i know how to over come it. why did you not lend her money? if you have a good reason and she didn't understand just think that she is not worth enough for you.

be thankful that you had lost that kind of person in your life...Actually you can't consider him/her as a friend...you can't call that someone as a pal with that kind of attitude!just forget about that narrow ex-companion of yours! You will have a better life ahead without him/her!I'm 99.9% sure of it...

gudluck!
