Taking it on the chin for being right rather than caving in
Hitting the snooze button repeatedly and slipping in and out of dreams
Gin and lemonade and the resultant slide into oblivion
Stories that have sad or shocking endings to be true to the story rather than just have a happy end
Being wrong when I hear a search has been called off for a lost child or sailor and thinking "they are dead" and having the found alive soon after
When someone who has wronged me has the dignity and courage to fess up to my face
And that's 6 because when you love an idea you can't ever discard it just to make the numbers
