Just about every year. That's why we're eating out. I cooked a turkey, & made gravy from the drippings 2 yrs. ago. My husband & I both got food poisoning! The turkey smelled SO bad, we had to open all the windows, & leave home for a few hours. We weren't right for a day or so. Also, we got the Walmart dinner to pick up Thanksgiving Day - already cooked & ready to serve - last year. My husband was handed a box with everything FROZEN HARD AS A ROCK to bring home. The turkey had to thaw in the frig. 3-4 days! Another time, I cooked a turkey for hours, not knowing our oven was not working right. It turned out raw, & we had too throw it away. Need to hear anymore stories? Happy Thanksgiving to you!

I made a tuna casserole( my mom requested it) but left out the tuna..it was so funny because everyone was asking me what it was, as they ate it. When I'd say tuna casserole, they'd say they couldn't taste the tuna, then I looked over at the kitchen counter and saw the unopened can of tuna sitting there:0

Yes, like forgetting to take the giblets and neck out of the cavity of the turkey before roasting. Lol, I do get pre-occupied. ;-(

My ex-mother-in-law made a pumpkin pie and forgot to put the sugar in it. It was totally inedible.
