I am doing research for a paper on psychology, and in it I want to show what aspects of a person's personality I can tell, by not knowing the person, but just knowing what their favorite fairy tale is, so I would really appreciate if you'd share!! Thanks in advance! :-)

Thanks everyone! Well, I'll just say that Cinderella seems to be the most popular (it's my favourite too!), and I think it shows that the person is whimsical, and that they relate themselves to Cinderella; overlooked, over-worked, lonely yet strong-spirited, and are waiting for something (like the mythical prince), an oppurtunity that will change their lives or someone that will show them that they're special. These people are also kind-hearted, funny, compassionate and determined. On the negative side, they lack the ambition and determination to achieve their full potential. They can feel anxious in soacial situations, and day-dream a lot, which makes some people perceive them as spacey...

Well, that's the watered down version, but I'd love to hear feed-back??? Oh and if you think it was accurate or interesting, star me!!!!! Thank you all for your help!!! :-)

I actually like all of them-i'm a sucker for happy endings. Can't choose an absolute favourite but Cinderella, Little Mermaid and Beauty & the Beast are definitely the top few.
I don't like snow white because of the dwarfs. And sleeping beauty would have rated higher if not for the needles involved. lol.

Snow White - I always respected the hunter, who was sent out with the task of killing Snow White, but letting her live in spite of his fear of the witch queen. In fact any character in a fairy story who defied the orders to kill or belay the hero of the story and then later suffered for their disobediance I find to be heroes themselves.
