If you are on welfare, you should not have a computer and Internet access!

Eat whatever you want, and be thankful that your mooching butt has anything to eat!

Why don't you get a job and quit being a drain on society?

If you can afford McDonald's or other fast food, you can afford to buy a few ingredients to make a more holiday-like meal at home, if you want to.

Potatoes and yams are cheap. So are canned pumpkin, eggs, sugar, and flour. A chicken you roast is a decent substitute for turkey.

If you don't care to celebrate the holiday, then by all means enjoy your fast food.

i don't think it matters what you have for thanksgiving dinner. but i do think you should set the table a bit nicer than usual. you mentioned a low income. but that shouldn't impact what is already inside your home. use the nicest table service you have. forks on the left, knife and spoon to the right. water glass above the tip of the knife. you can find examples online of how to set a table. bring in the candles. make it look pretty.

take a look in your pantry. bake a cake and make an effort.

i think you are pulling our legs. if you receive assistance, then i am sure that you have rec'd more than one holiday food basket. or you could have gone to a food pantry for help. if you are truly in dire financial straits, how are you online on thanksgiving?

If your family likes McDonald's then by all means go! What's important is to remember that it is a day to give thanks.

One question . . . your November check has already come, so I assume that you may have not thought ahead. Be prepared for Christmas!

Its more important that you are together as a family but you could get some turkey TV dinners for around a dollar at Walmart or you could go to a church where they have free meals.

Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless!

Why not? I am having a frozen Meals on Wheels dinner and could not be happier. Happy Thanksgiving...where ever you eat.

What matters is that you are together on the Holidays. I am sure it would be cheaper to cook something though then taking everyone to McDonalds.
