If Clinton wins the primary and becomes the offical democratic candidate for the popular election is it possible for Obama to become her running mate? If so is this a good idea?

I think it would be great, finally a ticket that represents the majority of america (we're not all rich, middle aged white guys)...but it'll never happen. Those two are in a knock-down brawl right now and there will be plenty of bruises.
Plus she doesn't need him, she already has the black vote.
And he doesn't need her, women will vote for him is he's the candidate.

Truthfully, I don't think much of either of them. I like Biden and Dodd. I think Biden would be a great VP. His foreign policy is exactly what is needed. Clinton is too hated already and Barack is too green. Edwards is just too pro union. I want a Democrat to win, but the more I see them (the top three) the less I like them.

This is the most horrible idea I have ever heard, Obama would not take her crap. So Hillary will be arguing with Obama and neither will be to the full potential so America will go into flames, but if Hillary is VP then she would take take Obama's crap because she would want to be in a position of power and if not president then vice president

Read Chris Rock's book, "Rock This", he explains why this type of situation cannot ever happen. But you have to remember, even if you don't subscribe to Rock's logic, since B.O. is such a viable competitor, Hillary has to virtually destroy him. If she makes him look the an inexperienced, incompetent, boob (which I think she will have no trouble doing), how can she have him as her running mate (and what would that say about him if he accepted)?

I doubt you will see this ticket. The nominee does not pick one of the people they have beaten for lots of reasons.

Also nominee's like to pick someone that will bring votes with them and Obama doesn't bring a group with him that Hilary won't get anyway. She needs someone more centrist/conservative. My guess is she is looking for a white southern male with military experience.

Either he or none else in democrats seems to be his motto. Hence his chances of being running mate of Hillary are fast receding. Very unfortunate.

it looks good on paper but with the way hilary views obama, that's not going to happen. she'll either choose bidden (who appeared to be sucking up to her during the last debate) or richardson.

only obama/edwards seems compatible in terms of their plans/manifestoes.

we'll see how it shakes out.

No way.
Hillary can't stand him.

Hillary will never select anyone who competes with her.
(In fact, he'd better watch his back.)

Note ****John Edwards could become the First Woman President.
