I've been a fan of NASCAR for nearly 50 years.
I'm not insulted by such a comment.
Considering the disdain some on the left have for NASCAR, I'm sure some may have been insulted. The extreme left always has difficulty with statements of fact.
I can read very well and anyone who believes the term redneck is an insult to an actual redneck doesn't understand the label is a badge of honor proudly worn by those that the left pretends to respect.

Ah, that's an old joke. Every NASCAR fan has heard it in some context before. We aren't as thin skinned as the Libs apparently.

If he did, the average NASCAR-loving redneck is too dumb to realize that he or she was even insulted. It's only a joke, albeit a rather lame one.

That's kind of a funny remark, it's a joke and not an insult, if that's what he said. Besides, this is election time, so the rules for what is an insult and what is not are more liberal, so to speak.

Nope its reverse psychology, by acting dumb he is really being smart and by not voting for him you are really voting for him and if he acts like he doesnt want to win and doesnt win he really won!!! Its really brilliant if you think about it!!
