If you are democrat why are you labeled right winger with a sneer in the voice when it is said? Wouldn't that make Republicans sheep with a sneer in the voice? If you vote can't you make an informed choice, and vote for the right person who has the best interests for the people? If you see a candidate that upholds the Constitution of The United States, vote for them and pray that your vote counts. As far as conspiracies go I would rather have my eyes open instead of closed. If we don't listen to conspiracy theories and just close our minds then we will never know what is happening. That makes us all sheep, republican or democrat.

to regerugg you are right about republicans being right wingers, but my point is why do people close their eyes and vote dem or rep instead of for the person. Eg. I am democrat but I still vote for the person who has similar veiw points to my own no matter what party he is with. Sorting through and finding out who believes in what helps us to become informed.

We are programmed from childhood to accept and wear labels. Treat some one as they are and they will stay that way... treat them as they could become and they just might go in that direction.
People wear their labels proudly, and refuse to accept anything that does not match what their labels imply. People are too comfortable in their illusions and do not take well to being woken from the slumber imposed upon them by the media. When we learn to simply stop taking the empty promises of our government officials as the gospel, and regain the ability to think for ourselves and cast off the labels... then we just might actually have a genuine chance at solving the huge dilema we are all currently faced with.
Saying "conspiracey theory" is a simple yet effective way to deny what could actually be happening. People do not want to see the train as it hits them full force, and they will inevitably go their graves still proudly sporting their stupid labels that actually have no meaning in the end. Labels are a way of creating division... and standard military protocol is divide and conquer... conspiracey theory nonsense? I do not think so.

I think the Moderates in the Democratic and Republican parties are the ones that will save our country. Wouldn't it be great if all Moderates registered as Independent, and voted all the crooks in Both Parties out of office? That would be called Cleaning House.....

Hmm... yes well. I suppose you all would prefer something akin to the British Labour party who has a knack of loosing some 25 million personal data records every other week - AND - introduced a social welfare system "which is the envy of the world" - allegedly!
Lest we forget - they also built the Millenium Dome for a few paltry £-millions only to sell it off for £1 - VALUE FOR MONEY!
Ooh! Ooh! I forgot to mention - they're currently subsidizing Northern Rock (a bank) just in case it goes under and - God Forsbid! - should everyone lose their jobs because (as it happens) Northern Rock is the biggest employer of their consituencies (voters!).
I could go on but then it would tarnish the image of Tony Blair for you guys.

People have been "Brainwashed" into thinking you need to vote only republican or democrat. If another candidate not a rep or dem shows up, BOTH parties gang up on smear campaigns to make sure that independent candidate does not get into office.

So true. There's not a dime's difference between republican and democrat, both are corrupt, except for Ron Paul. Unfortunately he doesn't stand a chance. Clinton will win. The global elite has already chosen who will win the 2008 election. There is no hope for America, or for any other country for that matter. Prepare for the new world order.

Democrats are left wingers. People can belong to any party they choose, or no party if they so choose. There are conservatives, moderates and liberals in both parties. You have a negative opinion that has no validity...in my opinion.
