Since you didn't specify whether it's a desktop or a laptop, I will try both answers.
Desktop: Check to make sure that your monitor cable is seated all of the way. If the connector is not making contact with all pins, certain colors will be missing. If all connections are good then your monitor is more than likely going bad...if you have another monitor that you can try then you will be able to verify this.
Laptop: The screen is definitely going bad and you will need a service call.

Could be a number of things. Check to make sure the cable is connected properley into the computer and the monitor itself. Also move any speakers or magnetic devices away from the monitor, as they can cause the screen to go a pink colour. If that fails then try the settings within Windows/Mac OS. You may also have a broken monitor!

You can download ccleaner for free here: http://bit.ly/1Bk5V5C
First open CCleaner
Go to the Cleaner tab and you will be confronted by a very confusing lineup of checkboxes.
To make this brief, below is my recommended setup:
Under internet explorer check temporary internet files, cookies, and last download location. Most users don't really need this stuff. keep history and bookmarks unchecked, history is a maybe, but you don't want to lose bookmarked sites. You can normally leave Windows Explorer, System, and Advanced alone.
Run CCleaner and it will start deleting files.
afterward it will present you with a list of the files deleted, you really don't need to go through it as it will be several pages long.
The registry cleaner is recommended for slightly more advanced users. Use it after uninstalling programs as they will often leave behind incorrect registry entries.
If you decide to run Registry cleaner then review the items detected and always back up the registry (I keep a folder aside for this)
The Tools tab lets you uninstall programs and set startup programs. Why do you need this if Windows has all of these features? Especially with Vista Home Ed. The windows defender software explorer( startup programs) doesn't pick up some entries (however software explorer is easier to use).
Using CCleaner to uninstall programs and then check for leftover registry entries takes less time.
Under Options you can determine how CCleaner cleans your files. I leave this alone.

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.healthboostpc.com
It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

I am a professional developer with Microsoft, and have about 10 years of experience in the field of Computer Engineering. Most problems with PC's are the result of malicious software that infected a Computer. Examples of this are things such as malware, viruses, trojans, spyware, adware, root kits, and worms. In other cases, they are the result of stability issues due to crashes, freezes, or Hardware Issues. Some examples of hardware issues could be a dirty cooling fan causing the computer to overheat, or low memory due to lack of RAM, which could cause the PC to run slowly. You may think it could be a virus, or malware, or registry issues, but it could be something else entirely. As a computer layman, one may find it hard to really ascertain what exactly is causing the problems, without having a professional do an in depth analysis of your PC.
As professional computer repairs can be quite costly, I would recommend to you a Software that many of us in the tech department here at Microsoft use personally and professionally to diagnose and repair computer problems very quickly. It is a software called Reimage, from https://reimagefix.im .. In my personal experience, and in the experience of many of my associates, this is probably the best software ever created for those experiencing computer troubles. This is likely to remedy just about ANY problem your computer could possibly be having, and have it running like new. Reimage has won several awards, and been featured in publications such as PC Mag.

Generally, your monitor has light inputs in 3 different colors. red green blue. when you put these 3 lights together, you get white, which is what you see. if one of the colors start to die, the other 2 colors will shine through as whatever blend they make. In your case, pink.
How can you fix it? check your monitor connections. It could be that or it could be that your monitor is about to die and it will be time to buy that new 22" lcd flat screen that you always wanted, during black friday.

1. Check your cable, is it already properly plugged and no damage? Check carefully and if necessary re-plugged it. 2. Check your windows setting, is it already inorder? 3. If the above matters are in place, it means your graphic card is not working properly. 4. Re install the graphic card driver once more. If not working than it means it's broken or damaged. 5. It is recommended to use nice graphic card that can support your monitor and PC such as G-Force and etc. 6. Check also the monitor, sometimes it makes you mad. small short circuit can ruin your day. Buy new one. Samsung, GTC, Fujitsu, and etc are nice to. 7. Bring your gig friend to help you out. It's cheap.
