The only thing that is consistent for Detroit is they play on Thanksgiving day every year.

I would have to disagree with that thought as well. Detroit has a really explosive offense, but Green Bays offense isn't a pushover either(although their D is better). I wouldn't be surprised if either team won.

We have a house that is divided on this one. I say Detroit over Green Bay-but it should be a close one. Bret Favre is not one of my favorites; My daughter and son-in-law really take this game seriously. He is a Greeen Bay fan-need I say more? Go Lions?

Totally disagree. The Tigers aren't the pushovers of old, but their record on TurkeyDay still stinks. You're right to think it will be over 45 total points though. I'll go with 31-24 Packers.

agree. Kitna will air it out all day and the lions have 2 many receivers to cover. Plus expect the lions to force some turnovers today

Now that would be good; Lions are coming off a loss, and Green bay are due to lose.... It may happen.

i pick the lions to beat the packers even though i like what the packsers have been doing
but the lions need this one and they are playing at home
if they want to get their 10 wins they need to stop their losing skids and win this one.

I wouldn't call it an upset. Green Bay isn't beating great teams. They beat Minnesota with Brooks Bollinger and Carolina with Vinny Testaverde and no Steve Smith.

Love the Packers....but the Lions backs are firmly planted against the wall. This is almost a must win for them...so an upset is not out of the question.
To the idiot that says the NFC sucks....you might want to take a gander at the H2H standings between the AFC/NFC this season. The results might suprise you. The AFC is HIGHLY overrated.
NFC leads 23-21. Yeah...the AFC sucks it looks like!
