The best good deeds come from the heart and are given in an area you feel passionate about. It doesn't matter how large or small it is, only that it be done with genuine sincerity.

I for one do voluntary work for the Red Cross, as well as donating my professional skills to several local fundraising events annually. I also financially support 5 charities, the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) the UNESCO Save the Children fund, Medicine sans Frontiers and a small local charity in China and one in Thailand.

The best deed is measured by the level of care and observation it took in doing it.You find ideas from whom to the deed is done.Otherwise its just a vacant deed done more for recognition than grace

i start with my boyfriend. i make him coffee in the morning and sometimes cinnamon rolls cause i know there his favorites. if he works nights, i leave dinner in the fridge along with pop and things to drink. or if i have time ill make him cookies or his favorite dessert. i bring things to work to share. like suckers and hard candy. the other day i made cookies to pass around. ill buy a co worker coffee or a soda. ill give a co worker a ride home. im a machinist so ill leave a few extra parts on the counter to give the next operator a head start. ill stack extra parts for them and clean up and change inserts and things so they can just start up and go. if i get bored on the weekends, ill cook something like a lasagna to bring to my little brothers house because they just had a baby. ill bring diapers and things i get on sale to my younger brother and sister to help them out since there new parents and low on money. ill pick up my 12 year old brother and bring him over to play guitar hero with him. i clean and do laundry when my boyfriend is on alot of overtime. last weekend i bought a 12 pack of samual adams to bring to my dad because he wont buy expensive beer. i bought my mom her favorite candy chocolate covered cherries. you can do alot of little things to make people smile. just listen to what they like and talk about and go out of your way once in a while and see what happens. many times people may not say anything or they simply walk all over you. but be the better person and do it anyways. sometimes it comes back.... i bought my dad a 12 dollar 12 pack of beer and the following week a got a gift certificate for 50 bux to a steak house! it was awesome.

Say thank you even to grumpy people, make an anonymous donation to a small charity, help an elderly person rake their leaves, get to a doctors appointment, grocery shop or to get a hair cut, put an elderly neighbors newspaper on their steps so they dont have to go out in the cold to pick it up, offer to babysit for a frazzled new mom so she can go out by herself to movie, serve dinner at a homeless shelter. donate diapers, toilet paper or cleaning supplies to a food pantry
