It almost seems compulsory today to care about it..Have to confess I didnt know there was an important match until this morning...that probably means I should give up my English status to someone more deserving hehe

I don't care about football.
I did post a question about the game the other day but that was about Scotland not so much the football....
I'd rather chew on an adrenal gland if you know what I mean...

I must admit after the boredom that was Euro 2004 and the World Cup 2006, I am looking forward to no football next summer.
I agree no stupid flags on cars or armchair England managers or fights in the pubs or constant cash in's with football will be nice.
Also why does the England team need an official supermarket ?

I'm British too and I absolutely hate football as well. But that doesn't mean we have to give up our British status, it takes al sorts to make a world and maybe we're just a couple of odd sorts.
P.S I hate tea and gin and tonic too!!!

You found me. The big problem is that next summer when this euro thingy is on (without a British team) it will still be wall to wall football on TV. Who would want to go on holiday to Austria and Swizterland at that time!?

boxing is my thing but i do care about football but not the England team due partly with me being Scottish but in all honesty the England players can gel/play @club level put them on the international scene and they are rotten!!! sorry
