As a Brit living in NYC working in the fashion business, I'd say England for the everyday person.Having lived in Milan and Paris too, I'd say France as far as designers go.

Between America and England, I'd have to say England. But otherwise, the Dutch have a really great sense of style...

But France and Italy have even better fashion sense, I guess.

England! I've been to England and I think that not only do they dress nice, but they also carry them selves very well! We were there for two weeks and found that there seems to be more confidence and believe it..friendliness than walking in new york city!

At the top end, it's about the same. Cool guys in London dress about as well as cool guys in New York. But get out to the stix and the English have it. Midlands over Midwest.

That's so funny. I've seen those makeover shows they do in the States - everyone comes out so frumpy. People are not great dressers in the UK but they seem to be better than the super drab and dowdy Americans.
