At a party, Romeo, a teenager who's EMO from a breakup, finds a cute girl named Juliette. Sadly, he finds out that her family is pretty much at war with his family.
Romeo goes to talk to Juliette, and things eventually get steamy. They sneak off to get married.
Unfortunately Juliette's dad is about to get her married to someone else, and Juliette does not want to be guilty of having two husbands. Juliette comes up with a plan to run away by making herself look dead. She is incapable of telling Romeo her plan.
When Juliet is placed in her family's burial chambers, Romeo comes to look upon her. Being as EMO as he is, he believes Juliette to be dead and kills himself. Juliette eventually wakes up from her drug induced coma and sees Romeo lifeless, and so ends her life.
Now I skipped a few parts, but that's a decent summary.

When I was in high school, spark notes used to be the norn, now it's Yahoo answers (this was only 5 years ago).
Boy was in love with this girl. Girl was in love with this guy. However they were in the middle of a family feud. Some miscommunication and misunderstanding later, both lovers ended up dead. Such tragedy. I prefer Hamlet.
I suggest wikipedia or better yet, actually reading it!

classic love story! but dont watch the movie, it sucks! both of them!
its about 2 young lovers who fall in love but cant be together because of their families. they find a way to get together by juliet taking a potion that makes her look like dead, but she is actually asleep. when romeo doesnt get the message about the plan and thinks that she really did die when he finds her, he drinks the poison and kills himself. juliet wakes up and sees that romeo is dead, she loved him so much and couldnt live without him so she stabs herself and dies with him.
read the shakespear version, the movies dont do it justice!

Romeo and Juliet came from two different families that were bitter enemies. They got married in secret. Romeo accidentally killed Juliet's cousin in a fight and was exiled. Juliet took a drug which made it seem as though she was dead, so that Romeo could come back secretly and take her away with him. The message never reached him, so he came back thinking she was really dead and killed himself in her tomb. Juliet then woke up, saw he was dead, and killed herself as well.

Chick meets guy. Chick's family hates guy's family, guy's family hates chick's family. Chick and guy fall in love. Chick due to marry someone else. People die along the way. Eventuallt chick and guy both die too.
