Character, the knowledge can come later, but without character it could be used for the wrong reasons. It's kind of like the difference between knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge is facts and figures and wisdom is realizing what to do with the information you have.

Character can go either way. Let's say you mean all the positive atribuites.
