When someone or people say "you're crazy", they could either be referring to your attitude towards life, events etc., or they may simply be the opinion that you are "nuts" and due for the funny farm any day now!

well back in the sixties it was a good thing " thats crazy man"
in the seventies it was a bad thing"Damn Nixon and this crazy war man"
In the eighties it was a bad thing, " this economy is just crazy"
In the nineties it was a good thing " we are making tons of cash ,man its crazy"

It means that when the person heard what you said, thoughts of "You are crazy" entered into their mind and they failed to notice where the crazy was, so they projected it upon you!

The implied meaning is the that your epistemolgy is incoherent. Most people don't have this exact concept: most don't know epistemology from a hole in the ground. But it is your epistemology they refer to, because your epistemology effects every aspect of your thinking.

if said seriously, then it means they cant understand you, either your personality, your thoughts, your actions or your plans,
the way you are doesnt fit in with their concept of normal,
while there are true mental states where one has lost touch with reality, often others consider crazy totally normal things, its just not the norm for them
