Yes "Wake Up" I only want Labour supporters to answer my question, because I am sick of hearing the ramblings of crzy people who support an oppressive liberal government that takes joy in crushing the average families hopes for a decent future.

Yes, J L, i remember what it was like under the last labour government, and i would give my hind leg to have them good old days back.
Paul Keeting had a dzmn good plan for our future and johnny howard rode in and manipulated it to suit himself, I too have lived under this oppressive rule, and i urge all young first time voters, Don't get sucked in by the libs.

Look, Richo, you obviously have a lot to say, and if you examine what you have said, it is to benefit only the rich, I speek from personal experience as a middle to low income earner, you are obviously not down here with the majority of Australians trying to make end's meet.
Suggestion, why don't you freeze your bank balance, move out of your expencive home into rental accomodation, get a job that pays less than $40,000 a year, and try to fead a family of four kids that are moving up to highschool, my money comes in and then goes streight back out, I have no savings, yet howard says i should save more, ok howard, give me some extra money and i will, hell would freeze over before that happened, he just wants to take more off me, higher fuel prices, increasing rents, food bill trippled in the last 2 years, school fees gone through the roof, if you were in my shoes, you would curl up and cry under the pressure, which make me, voting labour, a better man than you.

OK TIAH>3
higher interest rates, cost of living goes down, unions come in, the poor man can once again realise the Great Australian Dream, rich men can no longer oppress the poor man.
let me guess, you own your own home, possibly have an investment or two, possibly married with no kid's, high paying job's if not business owner's, are not old enough to remember how easy life was for the average australian under labour.

As a John Hewson supporter and long time Liberal supporter I cannot tell you how much I am looking forward to Rudd winning and taking this country into the direction we should be heading. We should not be heading to the plight of the greedy individualistic American style of life, we should be proud of our efforts to support communities, share prosperity and care about social justice for all in our country.

Howard has taken this country down the path of dog whistle politics. He says he cares about family values then he implements laws to make it easy for employers to rob workers of their holidays and destroy their family lives.

Howard insults my intelligence and after 11 years of insult, my intellect and compassion can take no more from this divisive man, we need a new leader with intelligence, and compassion, a leader with a vision of making Australia the best it can be.

I do not fit into a Labor voting stereotype but I like many Australians know when enough is enough, and Howard has overcooked his lack of concern in democracy and he will suffer the charred remains of a failed legacy. He will be looked upon as the leader who reminded the Liberal party that moderation is not a bad word, that compassion should not be banished from Liberal politics - they will learn from his mistakes and regroup as the moderates they once were instead of this group of insular right wing idealogues pushing their own misguided policies onto a public that tires quickly from acts of dictatorship.

Goodbye John and Hello brighter future!!!!!!!!!!

Yes. And it might very well take them more than one election term to salvage our country from the future potential economic, environmental and social wreckage and turmoil that Howard and Co's neglectful short sighted policies have put into play. So they will need continued support and vigilant reminders beyond Nov 24. Don't forget to remind the ALP of what we want and expect after the 24th - they'll have a lot on their plate to prioritise. But I'm voting for a better future because I know that they'll be more likely to listen.

The Liberals have done so much damage to this country and all they can talk about is the economy. The economic reforms of the Hawke/Keating Labor Governments are the reason why everything has been scooting along quite nicely for the Liberals. That and the happenstance of the current mining boom. A drovers dog could have run this economy, anyone with any sense can see that.

..........John Howard is mean , tricky & desperate

Well you pose an intersting dilema (sic) and am glad you have thought to raise it at such an opportune time.

Clearly it has made you stop dead in your tracks and wonder the meaning of life, to such a degree that when you walk into the booth on saturday or have cast a pre poll already you have or MAY suffer massive trauma and thus feel the need to ask a stupid question.

Seeking reassurance at a time like this is only natural when ones offspring leave the nest, to seek their fortune in the big wide nasty capitalistic world.

When such ocurrences do indeed happen, the young are of course inclined to pine for things past. Of past glories and insensitivities to others, Greed and the need to inflict mindless pain and suffering on those less fortunate to believe that they are "Born to Rule" In others it becomes evident that neurosis (sic) occur at time soif great stress and you become prone to acts of silliness and ask questions like yours.

Congrats our right wing chum you have graduated in the school of the real world. Lil Johnnie is headed for the back bench.

See you have your answer and its was free, no GST, or non core promises. Or dodgey how to vote pamphlets.

I do hope this helps you in your quest for self sufficiency in the brave new world.
