fuel filter-$4.... spark plugs$14.... plug wires$28.....pcv valve$3.... bad gas: run it all out and fill up with techron and use fuel injector cleaner $70... distributor cap and rotor$20.... some sort of wiring came loose such as plug wires: plug it back in. I've owned 9 vehicles some new, some old and 99 times out of 100 it was one of these simple things. but Advance and Autozone will check the SES light for free and that'll point you in the right direction.

It could be any one of 40 different things.
Take it to Auto Zone and they will put it on a testing machine. You may only need an air filter replaced. That expense is minor. I hope that's all it is for you. Good Luck.
