books - no-one could have all the books in the world. The girl should (should) appreciate it cos books are fun and the parents should cos they're enhancing their reading levels.
a 6 year old will be able to read things with a little bit of writing but not too much (don't go for books with an A4 page of writing next to a picture for example - picture books are still going to be the winner but don't make it "this is a cat, the cat jumps' type book - no one likes/d them...
You could even get here books to read in the future that her mum can read now - maybe "When We Were Six" by A.A. Milne (who wrote Whinne the Pooh) would be appropriate. It has fun rhymes and it's a sixth birthday present

Get her cool markers or gel pens. There's also those art kits and stained glass window-type coloring books. Oh and subscriptions to cool kid mags like Discovery Kids. I got that one for my friend's daughter when she was turning 8 and she loved it. Or there's that New Moon mag that empowers little girls.
I know how hard it is- my nephew is 6 years old also and he is also spoiled. As a rule I never buy anything for kids that requires batteries (I can get away with it since I don't have any kids) because I hear so many people say how the batteries are getting out of control and the noise that this $h!*e makes. So that in itself is difficult since everything my nephew says he wants always needs batteries and/or costs WAY too much for me to afford.

Something for the garden, perhaps a play house, trampoline or swing? When I was that age, I loved making things. You could buy one of those large plastic storage boxes and fill it with craft making things, like glitter, sticky shapes, coloured paper, felt, paint, stencils, stamps, etc. This would delight any child. Since you have a lot to spend, you could also buy her an easel. Adding to what someone said about books, maybe buy her a whole series of books and a children's shelf to put them on.

For $309 you should be able to get an older video game system and several games for it.
If she's not into games, you could take her shopping - let her chose.
