whether it canada or mexico close borders completely pass port only for 15 day visas thats all....good idea? cut down cost on borders?

that would increase costs multiple times. do u know how much manpower and money and administrative and logistic planning it takes to secure both those borders? we're talking about thousands of miles here...better of with the status quo

So, I was planning a months holiday in the States next year. Are you saying I should go to Canada where I will be more welcome. They may appreciate me more when I spend my money in their country.

Edit; I´ve been 5 times already to the USA and been to 9 States and found it to be a great country. Next year theres a possibility of travelling from Atlanta Georgia to Washington DC.
