well every couple is different obviously!
age, health, contraception previously used etc etc all have to be taken into account...
i conceived twice after stopping taking the, pill the month after. also i conceived the month after having the copper coil removed . this time ,trying to conceive is taking longer i had the marina coil in 4 6mths which stopped my periods completely.im guessing that after 2 mths of "normal" periods i will be succesfull this month (after allowing my bodies hormones to balance out again ).. i would suggest that you and your husband have as much sex as possible to "up" your chances .. best wishes

For me personally...I got pregnant with my first child within 3 weeks of being off the pill....way faster than I was told...lol. With my 2nd child it took us 14 months to get pregnant once we started trying.
With every couple it is different, stress, diet, bad timing are all issues that can not work to your advantage of getting pregnant. Just relax and have fun with your partner. If you worry about not performing then it could become more of a hassle in the long run. Things will happen for you but you have to be patient. If you still think it is taking too long, then schdule an appointment with your doctor and see if anything is standing in your way. Best of Luck and Happy Holidays

6mths first time, 4 mths second time and 5 weeks this time! First two were coming off the pill, this pregnancy was after having IUD out where no residual hormones remain.

4 months is not that long.
It took us 11 months to get pregnant and that was after i had been on the depo shot for nearly 4 years.
Go to http://www.justmommies.com for trying to conceive tips.
When you stop worrying about it that is when it will most likely happen just like it did for me.

i have never been on any form of contraception, i got pregnant with my first the first time we tried. our second took a couple of times, and 3rd just took the once again. it really varies per couple. just keep trying n youll get lucky soon. hope you do conceive soon, it must be so frustrating for you both. xx
