What a huge waste of money and time. If they had made the right decision 2 years ago perhaps England may well have still been in the competition. A new coach will suffer the same problem as long as we continue to import so many foreign players. We need to compete with the rest of the world by completely revising the way we recognise talent at an early age and coach them into maturity. Bring in Jose on a long term contract and do not panic if success is not immediate.
Introduce quotas on the import of foreign players and this will result in home grown talent being attracted to the game.
Essentially soccer involves quite basic skills; speed, accurate passing and shooting and intense team spirit.
Chelsea were not pretty under Jose but they based play upon a sound defence, a skilful and sound midfield and the pace and accuracy of their strikers. Unfortunately, England have failed in all these respects during the European campaign.

thank goodness! for 5 million a year i'll be chasing you for the job. the mistakes he makes in the selection of the squad could be noticeable to a 3 year old. only one good thing came from last night things can only get better - i think !!!
