Depends on where you are wearing it. Wearing Playboy brand clothing to work is a definite no-no.

DP....i'm sorry but you are the one who is not thinking this through....i don't have a lot of time to write out a essay....but this is not about playboy compared to anything else...its irrelevant that playboy is tame compared to hustler…it’s the fact that playboy is a symbol for any kind of female objectification that makes it an offensive symbol to some people. This is a day and age when young women are losing their feminist roots and embracing the idea of being seen as a sex object. To me the symbol of the playboy bunny does not equal sex or healthy sexual curiosity or a society which accepts these ideas….this is a symbol of female servitude and objectification as nothing more then a piece of…you know what….its a throw back to the time when objectifying a woman was as common as making her stay home and keeping her out of school (I’m of course generalizing but you get the idea)…a time when women pranced around bars serving “gentlemen cliental in a costume which in reality degrades their true sexuality….a mere harmless bunny ripe for the picking….you seem to think that the symbol of the bunny is about expressing a healthy sexual powers…but for a lot of people this symbol still hasn’t changed its meaning…sorry for the rant...and to answer your question...no! do not wear that stuff. its crap.

Well I believe it would be perfectly acceptable to wear Playboy branded clothing as long as the clothing itself is not too revealing and skimpy.
I have Playboy boxer shorts, which are uber cute and comfy.

I don't see anything wrong with wearing it, as long as you like it and it makes you comfortable! I think there are some items that are a bit not so classy, but there are plenty of items they sell that are just down right hot! Now, my answer also depends on your size/shape of your body. I don't think a 260 pound girl would find Playboy apparel to be her best choice.

To the person who says that Playboy is essentially endorsing the idea of women being sex toys, and men being superior....I'm sorry but you're simply wrong! If anything Playboy is one of the best companies at not doing that! You think of any other type of pornography, and tell me one that does a better job than Playboy!!! Think about Hustler, or Penthouse, or Cherry....... Some of those don't even look at women as good enough to even be considered sex toys. To some of them women are just tools on a shelf, so to speak.

We must simply face the facts. Sex is everywhere in our society, and in our lives. It is a central idea and almost essential in a huge portion of heterosexual relationships. How well do you think a marriage will end up if one of the partners decides that he or she no longer wants to par take in any sexual activity. I don't imagine it will go over very well, when he or she informs the other one.

The other point is that , we just need to face the facts that a lot of men are very horny, and something like playboy for instance, is something that can provide them with some material that they need/want (i.e. nudity) and at the same time can provide plenty of reading material! The people at Playboy are not under a rock or large shell, and know this, and therefore they provide a product to an audience. However, if you compare it the content of a playboy magazine, I don't think you're going to see things even half as harsh as you will in something like Hustler!!!!!!!

I have seen cases where guys that are always horny and always thinking about sex, and love to watch/look at pornographic content; cannot bear to look at a hustler magazine. It is just so far over the top, that it is beyond ridiculous.

You should really, honestly reconsider your thoughts about how playboy views things, compared to it's competitors!

Please also understand that I am not trying to insult you or over power you, or degrade you or your statement in any way! I just firmly believe that you didn't fully think it through before making a judgment!

Even Hooters is far worse than Playboy about making women look like sexual objects!

No. I would DEFINITELY not wear Playboy branded clothing. Playboy promotes the idea that women are sex toys, and that men are superior. So basically....it promotes sluts.

Stay away from that shop.

No, - not because of moral reasons, but because it's just too "lame" and corny. i've only seen one playboy mosaic leather jacket that was really classy and nice, but the rest of them are just too "played out" and lame.

Personally, the only girl's i've seen with the playboy apparel are like 35 single moms. I find it really trashy, it's just against what I'm trying to acheive. 'I'm a smart, independent woman, but I want to look like a porn star nahaha'', but it's your body and your tastes.

Playboy is fashion or a statement. I would wear it most definitely because it shows you are different from other people but beware, there are people who will make the wrong assumption about it.
