I love science & technology and am pursuing Electronics as UG(pure science). I want to know if I can pursue active research (in pure/applied/technology) without involvement in management & administration .

yes, defiantly, and hence i need to get back to studying (biostats exam tomorrow), but maybe with the sharing at a later date.

I resisted management for the 36 years of my engineering career. The technical was what I enjoyed and wanted to do. Now, I manage mostly non-technical endeavors. Have the courage to pursue what you enjoy. Yet, be prepared to manage if you reach a point where that's the best way you can contribute to what you care about. You'll find a shortage of people with the skills and personality to do well at management, and not all of those are willing. Pay attention to who you are and what you care about.

Administration is sometimes called the kiss of death to research. Unfortunately, things are set up so that you can advance only so far doing research without getting involved with management.
Luckily, I have no talent for either, so it never became a problem.

yes;of course.I wanna learn anything especially all branches of science & i wanna discover the things that r not still discoverd!!!because i wanna learn how the world works!humanbeing is curious. =D
