This world, the one that gives us shelter from the UV, the coldness of space.The one world the lets us live on, and helps us through our daily lifes. The one world that gives us the oxygen, food, and water. The only planet that looks like a blue barry in space. It gives us so much wonder, and beautiful scenery. It also give us millions of Memorys. Why Must we trash it and pollute it? Our world is dieing and we are going with it, If people don't stand up and help. Why can't people help our world out? Don't live the World in filth, live the world in wonder.

Things may improve. Governments are introducing 'carbon trading' schemes to encourage people to trap as much carbon as they release. This should help.
However, if things keep going as they have gone we will end up destroying the world's ecosystems.
If you believe the Bible, this world has a "use by" date and we are fast approaching it.

yeah, we really haven't done too much good for the planet - well at least nothing that is outweighed by the damage we have caused. it is said that by 2013, the arctic ice sheet will melt completely - this will start the melting of the greenland ice sheet which will raise the sea level tremendously. No one seems phased by the effects of what we have done. it isn't wonder anymore, we seemed to have cracked most of the earths most enticing wonders (why is the sky blue....) and it certainly isn't wonder as to the effects that will take place in just a few short years due to all the harm humans have done. people are just too lazy and ignorant to do anything - they want to ride to work or school in a fancy gas guzzler car, and take hour long showers and use plastic bags instead of paper or cotton. people do mostly what is most convenient for them, that means that this fancy lifestyle that they live, will just one day be taken from them and they will be left with no more luxuries and won't be able to survive... however human extiction will most likely occur, so it wont be long.

no look what we,ve done in 150 years since the industrial revolution.stripped the land of trees natures air conditioners and burned them releasing billions of tonnes of carbon into the atmosphere.millions of vehicles spewing carbon monoxide .we will be lucky to last another 150 years
