Absolutely!

The more life’s experience the merrier.

And no matter what types of life’s experiences either.

And if made mistakes or has done perfectly well that’s okay too.

For as long as he or she would have learnt all the good and bad with each and every types of their lives and they do know the difference between:-

• good & bad
• right & wrong
• just & unjust
• fair & unfair
• best & worst
• thieving & giving.

And he or she:-

• Understand that the presidential position is not one that is or should be taken as a position of power & glory or self indulgence & greed;
• But is a position that calls for and requires one to be prepared to sacrifice & give it all that they have got and fight for more to sacrifice & give all that they haven’t got so all others in society can be better off than they were before he or she took office.

Two questions that should be asked instead are:-

1. Can anyone point to all the presidents that fit the above?

And

2. Can anyone point to all the power & glory and self indulgence & greed seeking presidents Bas???ds that never understood nothing other the me 1st, me 2nd, me 3rd, me 4th, me 5th and so on?

There would definitely be a long list of the latter while a very extremely short list of the former.

Why is that, I ask?

Because the normal human is nothing but selfish & greedy, devilish & traitorous as anyone can ever be. And generally this type of people will get elected.

Why is that, I ask again?

Because they will say and do anything that would get them a vote without any care for why & for whom or what loss or pain they bring onto whom.

And once inside “stuff you jack! I am the master! I will lead as I please! And I will take what I please! Screw you & your objections, I am at the wheel I’ll drive to where & as I please!”

You’ll never hear any such not unless you can heed to their rear or anywhere else that near.

As I always say any good politician is already dead or pushed sideways or made irrelevant or turn into a scapegoat.

But if you’re honest and feel that you can lead the rest of us better than you should go for it. But watch it I say. You’ll not be popular once you’re in. Very quickly all that supposed to be your friends could easily turn against you unless you too turn selfish and greedy and share it around as you go, as the rest of them have so.

I prefer a president that knows what it feels like not to be privileged, who knows what if feel like to work at a crummy job because they need the money, who has had some management experience, and spend time in foreign countries. Experimenting with drugs and alcohol is OK, but long term abuse is a big negative for me.

Yes.

Wide experience gives people perspective. Politicians who have spent too much time in Washington lose their perspective and tend to represent the other DC insiders and not the people of America as a whole. That's why candidates for President often emphasize the time they have spent outside of Washington.

Makes no difference to me. As long as they know right from wrong. Just because someone has made mistakes in life, doesn't mean they have learned from them. I don't buy into the premise of what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
