honestly consider the reliability of the source, then confront him if you think its necessary. If a pathological liar or someone that hates him or his jealous of your relationship with him told you this you most likely shouldnt entertain it.
Then judge his reaction. Does he seem unreasonably defensive or angry? is he flippant or overly nonchalant? does he seem extremely irritated, not even giving you the opportunity to discuss the issue?. to me, these are all signs of guilt

Some people in this world love to create trouble misunderstanding poison minds etc no worries just tell them to buzz off if its true just tell them know you would handle it your way privately then tell the person in the wrong its my way or the highway as in front of people they will choose your way

I accused him, and he stated no. and then she admitted it to me one nighttime even as she stayed the nighttime at my domicile (she changed into my proper pal on the time) and then I confronted him and he apologized.. ia accused mine of meeting with his daughters and taking them to restaurants. what did i do? of course confronted him and said if he wants to see them it doesn't mean they should have an expensive dinner. they might visit him at his home. after a long fight he agreed. well, it is alwaqys either my way or a hard way
