you're not stupid, but you're not being smart by staying with him. He's using you for sex. He's denying you the right to find someone who will devote his time to you entirely. End it and start living your real life.

Most married men say that they will leave there wife for you. that they will marry you once they divorce there wife. that they love you more than they love her. An other stuff but don't believe them unless there actually doing these things. An no offense but you are stupid if it's been a year and he still has not giving you a ring. Be careful he could only be using you as his Mistress or a sl*t to just play around with.

If I had a dollar bill for every time I heard such a story I wouldn't have to work for a living. He will NEVER EVER leave his wife for you. I bet he doesn't really love you, just likes the fact that he has a wife to come home to + some nice sex on the side.
Do the right thing for yourself and leave. And never hook up with a married man again.

So, lets review, your having an affair with a married man, he won't leave his wife for you, and you are wondering if your stupid? Hmmm, I don't know if it's necessarily stupidity or that your just really wanting to become the new MRS. CHEATED ON. If he does it to this wife he will do it to you, I promise.
If you will cheat with a married man, that makes you a cheater too.
Stop looking in the cookie jar for peanuts. THEY AREN'T THERE.
Find a nice single man , that's one that ISN'T MARRIED, and availabe to create something real with you.
If your not willing to do that, then I would say just keep on doing what your doing with MR. Cheater, and see how wonderful your life gets.

To be honest yes, everyone knows that when you are just a mistress or the other guy that they won't leave their wife/husband... You are just a toy on the side and they will tell you whatever you want to hear just b/c they like the thought of sneaking around! On the other hand, why would you want to be the other woman? Do know that you are hurting his wife, their kids, and YOURSELF. Honey, I've been in your position, but I didn't know he was married, and I was single and young and fell for all his stupid lies... One day I found all that he told me was lies, and ended it, I didn't want to be known as the women who ruined his wife's marriage.

He doesn't think of you as a g/f or a potential g/f, if he liked you so much then he would have left his wife way before now, you're a bit on the side...a door mat and a booty call to him. Sorry to be so harsh but i have been through this..not with a married man but he wasn't single. It's not easy to deal with but this guy is basically rubbing his hands right now...he has a wife and a booty call...he benefits more!
Dump him and find a guy who treats you the way you deserve..with respect!

Well no your not stupid but a little advice for you.. MOVE ON because lets say if he does leave his wife and you guys get married the things he did to his wife he will do to you ...Once a cheater always a cheater[[well in most situations anyways

the man is married he has promised to love and honour another woman not you
how will you ever trust any man if you stay there you are hurting an innocent woman believe me she senses you but she also knows that her husband is justing using you for sex
many people are hurt and if there are children you really are effecting little innocents tell the man to be a real man and enjoy and treat his wife better than he has given you walk away with diginity you deserve your own free man

Now, to be honest there are exceptions to this very generalized statement. But if this guy is already married, he's not the exception, he proves the point.

most married men go into affairs to have fun outside marriage...and they make promises to leave their wives for their gfs which is most of the time a lie...like in your case...he just said that he'd leave his wife so that you'd get into a relationship with him...wake up and move on...stop being a home wrecker....im sure you'll be able to find a decent guy who will love you and you alone...
