how do i launch in a stickshift car without breaking the clutch?
I always press the gas hard and release the clutch really slowly, but does that break the clutch?
how do u do it w/o breaking the clutch.

i know hot to drive it, i just don't know how to launch( going fast) properly, w/o breaking my clutch.

If you are pressing the gas hard, nobody has every shown you how to drive standard. You are wasting gas, and burning your clutch. Just a light touch on the gas is plenty, easing out the clutch at a medium speed, balancing more gas with the clutch to avoid stalling, and you should be smooth as could be in no time. Diva is right, like riding a bike, once you learn it, you won't forget and practice is the key. Everyone has to go through the same thing when learning to drive with a stick shift. Patience, practice, and you'll be "launching" before you know it. Good Luck with it.

you need to press the gas and take your foot off the clutch at the same time. just practice, you'll get it!

go to a driving school. they teach you how to do it.
