we like masa mara, best to fly there from mombasa, or if you go to tsarvo east, west and amboseli you go with a driver in a purpose built safari van with an elevating roof so yiu can stand up to see animals, tsarve east west and amboseli is more economical, but quite a long drive.

If you want maximum animals, Maasai Mara is the place to go. The population of Lions is highest there, plus you'll find all the other four of the 'big five' (Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, Leopard).
However, for the best experience, and if you are willing to spend, visit a number of places.
Amboseli has the highest concentration of Elephants, plus a beautiful view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Tsavo has the unique maneless Lions, reputed to be the fiercest predators in Africa. Tsavo elephants are also distinct (reddish brown in color).
Lake Nakuru National park is your best bet to see the Leopard (a very elusive animal), and the Rhinoceros.
In Samburu National reserve, you will find a number of unique animals like the the Reticulate girraffe, Gerenuk, Grevy Zebra, among others.
Most tour agencies can organise trips to all these places. And in all these parks, you will find very good lodging. But again, if you want only one place, Maasai Mara is the place.
