If you like reading non-fiction, about what goes on nowadays - I recommend these two -

1) "Under the Loving Care of the Fatherly Leader"
written by Bradley K. Martin

2) "Rogue Regime"
written by Jasper Becker

These two well-written books give an insight about the North Korean Government.

Fiction?

Try all the books written by Clive Cussler.

The hero is Dirk Pitt, with his sidekick Al Giordino. These are well-written.

the other side of midnight
a stranger in the mirror

windmills of the gods
the sands of time
memories of midnight
the doomsday conspiracy
the stars shine down

hi, if you want to read it just for enjoyment than go for "five point someone" by chetan bhagat. it's not too long and very funny at the same time sensible book. if you want serious philosophy which is not too boring than go for "fountainhead" by ayn rand but it's a bit long. you can check out "da vinci code" by dan brown if you want hard core thriller.
enjoy

well im into fantasy and romance. try these, i loved them:

twilight series-stephenie meyer (DEFINITELY!)

a great and terrible beauty/ rebel angels- libba bray

the immortals quartet-tamora pierce (i liked all her books- song of the lioness, trickster's choice, etc)

wicked lovely- melissa marr

the red tent- ? (this wasnt fantasy or anything, but it was really good. it is definitely emotional and a bit more mature i guess. it is a fictional tail based on a bible character (isaac's daughter). it is really good. i cried!)
