Not in any particular order:
1. It's very high in salt.
2. It's loaded with sweeteners like High Fructose Corn Syrup which is very toxic.
3. It's loaded with artificial flavors and preservatives.
4. It's loaded with sugar. Even the buns are loaded with sugar!

Check out a film called SUPER SIZE ME. In it, they detail scientifically that a diet of fast food will eventually kill you.

I can't give you specifics but the reason fast food is bad for you is because it's processed and frozen and then cooked in more fat, normally a fat that is partially hydrogenated, which pretty much means it won't be absorbed and it will turn into fat on your body. The thing about processed food is that it is processed so that it lasts longer. So it can be frozen or have a longer shelf life. What these preservatives do to food and what they do in your stomach are two different things. In your stomach, the preservatives slow down digestion.

Fast food nowadays r unhealthy because they use lots of preservatives stuff. Lots of salt and can cause hypertension. It also have food addictive which makes the food taste better so people could spread the word and continue to go back to the place.

anything mass produced usually involved a lot of sodium (1) and preservatives (2).. and they usually treat any veggies or fruits that could have been healthy to make them appear fresher longer, thus affecting their nutritional value (3)

how's that?
I'll give you a bonus one too. Serving sizes are usually well more than we should be eating (4) - so if you are trying to be a little healthier when eating fast food get a kids meal. you will be surprised by how full it gets you and its cheaper

Alot of it has to do with all the grease that is not properly drained off of the food. To much greasy food can cause major heart trouble. Plus fast food places put a lot of salt on the food to add flavor which to much salt in your diet cause you to retain water and may cause you to become over weight.

I don't know what they put in some of those "burgers" and such but I am willing to guess that it isn't ground sirloin. Probably a bunch of chemicals, preservatives, oils, and who knows what else they can do to make it as cheap as possible for the company to make and maximize profits.

1.The cooking process. Most fast food places fry their foods in heavy cooking oil. Deep fat fry = fat.

2. The food itself. Usually high in fat content and extra preservaties. Foods = fat

3. Quantity. Today, people are all about supersizing. The bigger the better. Better = fat.
