I just reinstalled Windows XP SP2 into my computer, with the recovery CD to get rid of all the misc processes that I don't need. However, when I did that, all my USB 2.0 Ports became USB 1.1s As in It says USB 2.0, but when i plug it in, the message "You can do stuff faster with a USB 2.0 Port. Click Here to see what USB 2.0 Ports you have" HELP THX

Hi. Were they functioning as USB 2.0 before? If not then you need a USB 2.0 card. Otherwise, I don't know.

if that is a new card that you added to your computer to get 2.0 then maybe take it out and start the computer and shut it down put the card back in and restart the computer and it wil find it.

um if it is built in already then I would say you got a virus stopping you.
