I've been pretty liberal for over twenty years, and I gotta say, I think you're talking about some other kind of person.
What Democratic Presidential candidate is running on the "I'll ban words" platform? What group is Hillary Clinton asking to be ashamed of their opinions?
Did Barack Obama make a speech pleading for more strip clubs in the cities of America? Did John Edwards demand a pornographic exemption in FCC policies?
I think you're falling for someone's "Strawman" argument, where the worst of the Liberal Democrats are propped up as the norm. then you are encouraged to see how much more sane and sensible you are.
It would be like someone holding up the Westboro Baptist Church as an example of Christianity.
Honestly, we Liberals aren't nearly as crazy as your question implies.
Peace.

Can you cite some specific facts instead of assumptions and assertions? I wonder how many of these "sexually suggestive" programs are actually being broadcast by so-called conservatives or conservative networks. My suggestion to you would be, drop the Hannity/O'Reilly style rhetoric and follow the money. Of course, not being a "liberal" except perhaps in the 18th century sense, I suppose I can't answer you.
And who is trying to justify prostitution? Besides a certain Republican Senator's indiscretions, I haven't heard much about that issue recently.

It has been my experience that liberals are far harder to pin down on their programs than Republicans. Don't get me wrong. I am neither a Republican or Democrat but it seems to me that the Democrats, especially those in the far left, are not honest and certainly not well informed. Their beliefs are at time preposterous and cannot be followed by rational honest people. Their hypocrisy is monumental and they support programs that are considered by me as disgusting. And you are correct they will (and do) ban certain words that they feel are inappropriate or politically incorrect. This is absurd and carrying a premise too far. I agree with your point of view and it is for this reason tha I am afraid to vote for a Democrat although I know that most of these over-zealous improprieties come from the radical left rather than for the middle ground.

the reason bush changed into elected changed into because he changed into basic for Cheney to administration. He did not mastermind 9/eleven he basically cleared a direction to make confident it wasn't stopped (verify into why the study into the adult adult males taking flying classes changed into close down and not using a end). Why were this kind of huge quantity of people all gungho about going after Iraq even as no longer between the 9/eleven strike team changed into from there?

Liberals are probably the worst opponents of free-thinking and originality. These are the types of people who believe that a multi-ethnic group of people all regurgitating the same liberal dogmatic nonsense is an example of "diversity."
Give me a break. Liberals are just as interested at silencing their critics as any conservative could be. I've been in both corners and I can tell you that the difference between arguing with conservatives and liberals is this: conservatives will heat up the conversation if you disagree with them, liberals don't want the conversation to happen.
Bearkat, thank you for pointing out what a huge moron you are by using the word "neo con" in your little rant. How does it feel to try so hard to sound as educated as you are opinionated only to fail at it by using political buzzwords?

Why do Neo Conservatives claim that America is a Christian nation, and will be judged as such when the Bible makes it clear that's not true?
Why do Neo Cons cling to the Old Testament to say that God wants us to be a Christian nation, when by the very nature of the word, "Christian," that implies New Testament, which is different?
Why do Neo Cons use Old Testament scripture about homosexuality to justify their positions, that basically talks about putting homosexuals to death for their actions? Do they believe that? Have they read the parts about adultery in those OT scriptures?
Anybody else see just a little bit of generalization here?
Edit...I only follow the example of Conservatives who throw the word "liberal" around like a curse word all the time. Didn't know "neo-con" was such a bad term. Is it...a generalization?
It's not a matter of "education," Divine, it's a matter of common sense. Anybody who's studied the Word for any period of time ought to see that there are some unanswered questions on those issues.
Divine, do you have a response? What does the Bible say about such things?

Please provide one case of non-pc speech being banned. Note being fired by a private enterprise is not being banned, it is an employer acting in the best interests of protecting their customer base and maintaining a qualified workforce. I am free not to associate with or listen to or patronize whoever I want. That includes racists as well as sexist and exploitive strip clubs or pornography.

Which liberals are responsible for the people who are the biggest complainers of this PC conspiracy being sent to sensitivity clases? I believe that is their own networks telling them to tone it down or they are out the door, but they have to have soemone to blame their own poor behavior on.

So what you are saying is that Liberals are wrong for wanting people to respect each other but you are not wrong for wanting to force your prudish sexual repression on everyone.
