Mars is one-half the diameter and a mere 1/10 the mass of the Earth. The Earth would obliterate Mars.

Of course, such a collision would vaporize the Earth's surface, killing all life in the process, so we wouldn't be around afterwards to cheer for its victory.

It's already happened. Billions of years ago an asteroid about the size of Mars impacted Earth. Earth is still here, the asteroid ain't. Nuff said..!
