Movie stars have to be in good movies and like sought after to do movies celebities just have to be entertaining for tabloids and stuff

Not the same. Someone like Julia Roberts is a movie star AND a celebrity, but Paris Hilton is more of a celebrity, less of a movie star, although she has acted.

yea. a movie star is someone who is in a movie, and most likely you will be a celebrity, but you dont have to be a movie star to be a celebrity. like a broadway star. they can be a celebrity but not be in a movie. or they can be a husband or wife that is married to a movie star and still be a celebrity.

...Uh, a movie star is in movies. A celebrity is universally known and usually rich. All movie stars are celebrities, but not all celebrities are movie stars. It's really an obvious answer.

it is clear that there is the difference between them. i read the blog posted by a user on the site called sugarmommymeet.com it said that there are three reason why move stars differ from celebrity. firstly, they make different money per day. besides, they are faced with different stress. finally they have a different cycle of friends.

not really. the diffence is just about how famous u r and how much money u have. celebrity and movie start r the same sh't.

...think the difference is clear, moviestars are on screen,cinema,....the rest is standing in the prospect!...than celebrity´s are just standing on the prospect and than they are movie stars,...perhaps?....hi ..ha..ha (4 the smile:-)
