Your vehicle does not use Diagnostic Trouble Codes. If a malfunction is detected by the SRS (airbags) unit, the SRS indicator light comes ON.
If there is a failure in the sensors, SRS unit, inflator, or their circuits, the SRS indicator light comes ON.
Each component, and the wiring in between, needs to be checked. There is a very real possibility that the airbags may deploy while testing, so this is a job for a Honda technician.

this means that there is a problem with your airbag system. you will need to have it serviced right away because an airbag light is not like an abs light. because when an abs light is on it just means you will have no abs. but when your airbag light is on it means that it may not deploy when needed or it may deploy at random, even while driving down the road.

Suplemental Restraint System. You have a failure in your airbag system, you need to take that to Honda, most other people shouldn't be messing with that.

...what chris said. it has something to do w/ your airbags. take it to the dealer and ask them to check it out for you. it could be that your airbags are malfunctioning.
