I think that simulator games like Gran Turismo can help with your driving skills if you use a PS3 steering wheel.
Even the Army and other brances of the armed forces use Simulators to train pilots on how to fly specific planes. And I think that Gran Turismo games are capable of the same thing because the games are so realistic. Every change that you make to the car such as the brakes, engine, transmission, and more is all very noticable and is as close to real life as possible in any video game.

there are no other driving simulator like gran turismo. forza, project gotham, and need for speed are ARCADE simulators, they help your video game skills. GRAN TURISMO is a REALISTIC simulator, it helps you in REAL LIFE.
MOST PEOPLE HERE SAY IT DOESN'T HELP BECAUSE THEY NEVER PLAYED GRAN TURISMO, THEY ONLY PLAYED GAMES LIKE FORZA AND NEED FOR SPEED THEN AUTOMATICALLY ASSUME GRAN TURISMO IS THE SAME. IT IS NOT

No, not at all...those games are very unrealistic especially Gran Turismo, learning how to drive through a video game isn't a good idea. You don't see people crashing into a wall at 100mph and continuing to drive with no damage to the vehicle let alone actually surviving the wreck to continue to drive.....

I think a little bit like some of the techniques do. Like I learned how to over steer and if your counter steer and stuff from grand turismo. So somethings do. They do help with go karts like hugging corners and stuff =)

no, cuz in driving games andjunk uhhhh u pres like x to acelerate and[] to slow n reverse.
i dont think theres an x button or an [] button on a real car, so i would say no. =(--l---<

i promise u a steering wheel will not make u better. in fact it may make u worse. however it is a lot more fun!!!
