Not sure the reasoning of your question- but a tie should make you feel smart and professional - providing you wear it correctly. A smart looking tie with a french cuff shirt and smart cufflinks together with a nice suit- preferably a three piece - can't go wrong.

Something around your neck.. Just don't tie it too tight or else it will choke you
