Use it. I mean, if this is the only problem you have in your marriage, then you are worried over nothing. Apparently he just thought you both needed a leaf blower. Not exactly the most romantic or useful gift unless you have a lot of leafs.

Be grateful he didn't spend it on something completely useless or selfish. If he is spending money a lot without consulting you for your opinion, then I think you need to sit down together and talk about money management. Since it is the both of yours, you both need to decide and agree on how it should be spent. But really, a leaf blower is better than a lot of other things he could have bought.

I dont think you should do anything, unless he bought a truck to put the leaves in.......I feel like most of the other people here, he could be out spending money on drinking or worse...
If you are that upset, talk to him and tell him that next time to talk to you about it but other than that I would not make a big deal out it....at least he wants to keep you place nice and clean....

Thank him for buying the leaf blower so you won't have to actually rake all those leaves. You can begin the thanks by looking up at him, smiling, giving him a kiss and then dropping to your knees and blowing HIM.

Yeah, if you guys are broke, this can be an issue. If not? Just try to laugh it off; after all, it'll be a funny story later. Think of all the years you guys will be together...I mean, there's a good chance that you will buy something he will disagree with.
This sounds like something my husband would do, and I have to say I'd laugh my *** off. He would know very well that wasn't for "us", and that would be what made it funny a few weeks down the line.
Being married takes patience, honesty, and most of the time? A very healthy sense of humor. Sometimes we just have to hug them like crazy and let them have their moments....just like they let us have ours. Ya know?
Good luck!

tell him to keep the receipt and you hope he has fun using for a short because it will be taken back and get a deg on rake or that money needs to be put back someway somehow. Thats an investment tell him you would like him to discuss these things with you and vice versa if not money is wasted and junk is accumulating where it can be spent in other areas such as a retirement savings because social security is on the brink of distinction.

Its the idea and effort that counts dear, not what he bought for you. Some husband somewhere in the world, God forbid, could have bought a stripper or prostitute with that money.

Get out in the yard and start blowing some damn leaves. He was nice enough to get it for you. After all, you could be raking. Some wives arent fortunate enough to have such a thoughful husband. You oughtta be ashamed you damn ingrate!

I don't see where that's a big deal. Don't start petty arguements, your marriage is more important.
Unless you 2 are totally broke and about to be homeless, drop it and tell him it's a great idea. It's probably cheaper than hiring a gardner to do it.
