can it be possibly the reason my usb doesnt recognize my mp3 creative zen stone is because i didnt update my computer to service pack 2.

Yep...upgrade to service pack 2. That should take care of it.

could be. as far as i remember, win xp w/o sp only recognizes usb 1.0. and creative zen needs support for a usb 2.0. install sp2, besides for your mp3, your computer needs it too.

Hi. You need SP2 to use USB 2.0.
