I live in Queensland Australia and i rescued this fish from a Dam down our paddock. (the dam was almost fully dried out, servere drought here)

This is the fish http://s221.photobucket.com/albums/dd204/heybitch1993/?action=view¤t=Picture004.jpg

sorry, the picture is kind of bad. i took it with my webcam and i had to put him in a little container to try and get a picture of him coz hes hyperactive.

Thanks for your help =D

Cool looking fish,I wish the photo were better,so we could tell a bit more about the body shape. The stripes look somewhat like an Archerfish, but they're brackish water animals. I'm not too familiar with Aussie fishes, but I'd like to know about this one, post something when you ID it.

looks just like my scum sucker....(aka algae eater) sorry to say it cause it would be a lot cooler to be a tiger shark, but it looks to me like it is the same as mine.
He harldly ever sucks on the side of the tank, only when it is dark, otherwise he is all over the place...
Hope it helped...not sure, but thought it was worth giving my opinion

it relatively is already responded, i comprehend. he's a male crowntail- merely crowntail. i does not call him a crowntail fantail or veiltail crowntail. merely crowntail. and likewise, he's no longer bloated- if something, it is the dimensions his abdomen could be after each and every feeding.
