It's the same thing. This life is eternal; even if we're wrong and there is no soul survival, the elements of your body will remain here on Earth til there is no Earth. The deeds you did while alive will change history a la The Butterfly Effect. If you procreate, your genes will carry on til your family no longer reproduces. We are all in eternal life, as we speak. And it's equally important.

Eternal life is more significant; this life imports progress.

Good books: "Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet,
"Men in White Apparel," Ann Ree Colton.

Well I use Jesus Christ as my example for life and both were important to him. He did many wonderful things to people, helped and healed them, told the truth. He knew about the afterlife but it seemed to him living on earth to help people was just as important. That gave him the doorway to talk about the living a life here on earth that would allow them to live with Jesus for eternity..

Your eternal life is based on who you are and how you are in this life.

Both are of equal importance, for if you did not exist in this life, what would eternal life profit you.

You wouldn't be a partaker thereof.

Eternal life because, as it speaks for itself,it is eternal.. Eternal life is our fundamental principle to gauge our wisdom.. our 'basic inspirational concept' to do right things to ourselves and to others in our present life knowing we have two options:eternal lake of fire or eternity in the kingdom of heaven..
