That is exactly what the Republicans did. They invaded Iraq, took away our civil liberties and smeared anyone who disagreed with them. That's how Bush and Co stole the election and maybe got a few legitimate votes.

Without benefit of having viewed either of your attachments, my first inclination is to quip that the Dem.s seem to think it's OK. But the truth is, they ALL do it! Is it acceptable? Not in my book.
