My parents been nagging me to stop cracking my knuckles because they think it makes your knuckles bigger when you grow older.Is this true or is this a myth?

it's not true, i started cracking my knuckles at 10 years old, I'm 34 now and my hands are normal sized, and i don't have arthritis...

Completely not true knuckles crack cuz the air in the joints is being moved thats what makes the pop sound when you are older the skin on your hand probably loses the fat underneath so it makes knuckles look bigger because the skin is closer to it

It will NOT cause arthritis either

I herd that cracking your knuckles can cause you to have Arthritis when you get older but I don't know if it affects the size of your knuckles.

No its not true My son doe s it since the age of 17 and hes now 31 and his knuckles are normal

its a myth i crack mine all the time ben doin it for 20 yrs and my hands would be huge if it was true.

Yes! Take it from me I crack my hands all the time and my ring size went up 1/2 size!
