Sims 2 PC help?

When I start up sims 2 it freezes at the loading screen what do I do????? help!

Its not my computers graphics card or RAM and stuff like that becuase I can play Crisis and other of todays games I have Windows Vista Home.

you may need to download the latest patch.

You may even have to re-install it.
