my sister started calling my cat pumpkin eater and i find it anoying dose your brother or sister name your cat, dog, rat, rabbit, giny pig, mouse, hampster, and so on and on. a weird name that anoys you?

My SO & I have nicknames for most of our companion animals (not to mention for each other) & it's not meant to be annoying but a sign of affection. Maybe this is your sister's reason for calling your cat Pumpkin Eater, which is kinda cute.
On the other paw, maybe she has a hard time remembering your cat's real name. Our rat brothers look so much alike that it's almost impossible to tell them apart, so I usually refer to both of them as "Ratzen" or "Boyzenberries" instead of by their names. My nickname for our black cat is Pocket Panther & our big yellow kitty's nn is Pink Panther or Buddy Boy. We'll never stop calling our tuxedo cat Babycat even tho she's going on 10 yrs & I call our kitten Wise Eyes (if you looked into his eyes you'd see why in a heartbeat). Even our longhaired guinea pig has a nickname. None of them seem to mind & it doesn't confuse them-- they've all learned their nicknames as well as their actual names.

Tell me this lol Is Flomar one heck of a weird name? Yes I know you agree now just be grateful that your sister did not rename your dog/cat/whatever pet Flomar or Somewhere =] Pumpkin eater is many times better than those names

No, but my sister used to scream whenever my cat would go near me or whenever I would go near her. Within a week, my own cat was terrified of me. Just be glad your sister isn't as diabolical as mine.

My best friend calls one of my cats "brittle bones," because she's old and my dog "little punkin head" in a baby voice.
Annoys the living CRAP out of me.

It's so annoying I can hardly stand it.
