if its the parents job to teach sex ed ... how many should be sacked from parenthood for not doing their job
Judging by the opathetic level of sex ed in the UK and US.
Everyone says its their job only .00000000000000000001% of the uk parents actually does a good job unlike virtually all Dutch parents

LETS SEE MICHAEL...
The US have 74 times the sexaully tranmitted deaseases and 10 times the unplanned teen pregnancies... so how about we shove that one up you and wack it around you head till you yanks realise you aint got it right according to the evidence ergo should sort it out.
and if you dont want planned pregancy doing you job for you how about you do you job better then them teaching more info and earlier?
Even better idea why dont you, the school, and planned pregnancy ALL do it, so all the kids get the lessons over and over again...
the dutch system starts age 4 and has hundreds of lessons ie think pretty much once a week till 18
by the time your kids get basics the dutch kids are learning about advanced stuff like sex toys and they cover EVERY POSSIBLE ASPECT OF SEX AND REALTIONSHIPS... oh and the kids behave and take it all in

It is the parents job to teach their children about sex. That is how they end up pregnant because they were not educated and then they were given the wrong information by someone else. I live in the US.

I think they are too embarrased to talk about sex with them. I don't know why though. or maybe the parents do talk about it but the teens are going to be rebellious and not care. Maybe their parents work so much and can't tend to their children's needs. there's lots of reasons! I don't think they should be sacked since my parents never talked to me about sex and I'm no teen parent! It's just all about personal choices really and values. the ones without values are the ones getting knocked up!

I feel it is the parents job to teach there child about sex. Especially if you have a daughter. It is hard though. It is something that is easier said than done. But it has to be done.

I think it should become the educational systems responsibility to teach sex ed because clearly parents cant/wont do it. HOWEVER I think it is a parents job to teach good morals surrounding sex and they SHOULD do that!

Whose job is it to educate children about sex? Sure as hell not Plan Parenthood that ultimately is in the business to make money. PP has it's place, but its not their responsibility to take charge and educate minors about sex to the level that their parents should. Plus this Y! Answers is for America, so you can take your UK bullshit and drink it down with your tea.
And that percentile is what's called an improper fraction, if you were to convert it into a mixed number, you'd fine that it can't actually be correct.

From my perspective, about 80% of parents should be sued for malpractice by their kids. Sex ed being only one example.
