I think that writing a fiction claiming to be the truth is the worst of those three options presented by the question..... my reasoning is simple... it impacts more people adversely than just myself or a friend.... writing a book is a serious matter because of its wide influence on various people and hence there must be absolute ethics and morality displayed... presenting half-truths or myths as the truth can be extremely lucrative these days, but just imagine the wrong influence it can create on the believing children and growing up people!

The worse is turning on your own beliefs. One can lost the wealth they have gained from doing that, maybe not at first but down the line it will be lost. Because there will be no belief system to hold it together.
