Its 6.20am here and im actually glad in a funny way that we have gone out. I have always been a passionate England fan but since Mclaren has been in charge and maybe the last 6 months with sven, I lost all my passion for the national side. This tournament has been as bad as the Graham Taylor days and I for one am hoping that mclaren is no longer manager at 0830am. I am also hoping that the FA can bring in a world class manager to bring the passion back to me. I hope for Jose but I think it will be someone like Cappelo.

Im not suprised alot of people have mentioned the arrogance of footballers, not making enough effort, we have a manager who keeps using failures such as Robinson, Lampard and the retired such as Beckham and nothing is still working. Carson was put as an emergency we can't blame him in the end because you put Robinson we would have lost 4- 2! McClaren is refusing to step down so we'll know by lunch time if he is sacked and who will replace him. Someone strong enough to pull the weight of these players. People will call out to Jose Murhino and I doubt he will set foot back here not since the way he was treated by Chelsea.

It's just sinking in. I have put off coming here until not long ago..lol. I wanted to calm down. I know the players have some responsibility, but geez, McLaren is a tosser..unbelievably naive and clueless.

Honestly....this could be a blessing in disguise. You now can get rid of McClaren, hire a reputable coach to rebuild this English team. You would of made the Euros....things would have not changed, something your in dire need of.
No offense to England, they stunk.....The talent is there but with the lack of Chemistry and bad decision making from a Manager who has no idea what he is doing....its complete shambles.

Yeah mate i cant believe it either. I'm gutted about it. After getting my hopes up after Saturday, I just can't believe it happened. I hate being an England fan sometimes. It's just blow after blow knowing that we should of done so much better.
I really don't know where we go from here, as I don't think a decent manager will take the job.

Croatia are a good team simple as that ,it does not help to have a manger that thinks he is above the team (and who also does have not the capacity for this level).
It was a majof f..ck up by showing beckham who was boss ,
he is another Grahem Taylor ...Venables is past it now ...
and it looks like Allardyce cannot get the toon to work so wher3e do go fromhere ,maybe we should choose adifferent national sport ,

One major reason why England sucks it's because the whole FA, players, team, coaches are all arrogant and think that they're the best. If Italy, Spain, Germany or Argentina would have played with Croatia today, Croatia would have lost badly.
I agree that England does have the talent. Actually they are one of the most talented teams in the world but still arrogance plays a big part.

Believe it. It happens, England do not have a divine right to qualify. At least now McClaren will be sacked at 0830 and we can concentrate on the draw for the world cup qualifiers this week.
